While I’m posting Tumblr photodumps, here’s a selection of photos from March 2010 when actor Doug Jones (Hellboy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Guild and Pan’s Labyrinth, among dozens of other projects) came over to cut my hair. No, really.
We met at a school fundraising event in 2009 and got talking, and have stayed in touch ever since. In late ‘09 I mentioned I needed a haircut, and Doug graciously (for some reason!) offered to jump in and lower my ears.
Myself and Jump Leads artist JjAR immortalized the event in a guest comic for Joel Watson’s Hijinks Ensue.
I find this so surreal. But amazing.
